Our Story

The journey of ABOUT LACE started in 2015 by Ria Koumantarakis, a passionate lover for Earrings. She decided to make these unique earrings available to the South African fashion market after receiving a pair as a gift and falling instantly in love with the delicate Italian workmanship, the timeless designs and classical look of each pair. Made with love in Italy.

Visiting Greece is on Ria's calendar every year. On one of her recent visits to Greece, Ria came across a trending range of bracelets and rings in exquisite colours and textures with beautiful symbols attached. She was inspired right away and decided to make them available in South Africa and there has been a huge demand since.
